Date: Mon Feb 19 06:58:31 2007 Subject: [commits] [openib-commits] r1993 - Message-ID: Dear sir or madam, We are building a core infiniband network and noticed network errors by using the tools in /usr/local/ofed/bin. The errors keep coming back After I clear them....The tools are ibdiscover and ibcheckerrors. The ibcheckerrors shows me Ports failed and the following errors: RcvSWRelayErrors=117 LinkDowned=11 I am getting these errors on my main silverstorm switches and IBWAN switches. Hence, this means that our long haul links are potentially unreliable.... Does the above errors mean data loss on that port or is it noise and acceptable? What would cause the errors? A bad HCA card, Bad cable, bad Emcore end (that does the Electrical to Optical). Thanks, Randy Cell: 703-992-5475 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
