[openfabrics-ewg] IBED-RC3 Installation fails

It would be most helpful to see the full logs where the "mpicc : command
not found" error occurs.

Can you send those?

Thanks.

The logs are the initial logs which were obtained before
disabling ipath driver. After disabling ipath, mpi starts giving problem
of "mpicc : command not found". I then excluded mpi from the install and
its working.

As Aviram mentioned that Suse9.3 is not in the support matrix,
so i now moved to redhat.

	Thanks

mpicc is part of the MPI installation, not the OS.
MVAPICH is still the default MPI, so you should be getting MVAPICH's
mpicc (not Open MPI's mpicc).

I don't see this error in the logs that you sent,
however. What was trying to build when this failed?

			Hi Scott:

It works if I exclude ipath and mpi. For mpi, i
am getting an error "mpicc : command not found". mpicc is a part of OS
or IBED install? I was assuming that it should be a part of openMPI.

			Aviram:

I am following the readme file of IBED RC3,
which points me to following location
			https://docs.mellanox.com/dm/ibgold/ReadMe.html.
Here the release notes say that Suse9.3 is supported.

Please let me know the updated supported matrix.

			Regards
			Karun

Does it work if you exclude the ipath
driver?
