[openfabrics-ewg] does the core driver know how to handle huge pages?

If one will register a buffer of 2 MB: 
    in the first time with one huge page 
    in the second time with 4KB memory pages
 
is there is a difference in the driver?
 
(or in other words, is there is any optimization in the driver for huge
pages?)
