[openfabrics-ewg] db-devel requirement?

I guess it seems weird to me that a user can't do an OFED build on an
out-of-the-box RHEL4U2 machine (i.e., they have to edit some file and
supply an option to install.sh).  Shouldn't it "just work" for supported
systems?

(I can't look to see what the supported systems are right now; I'm
re-building my $HOME :-( )
