[openfabrics-ewg] Test Results so far from Silverstorm for OFED1.1 rc5

Hi:
 
Silverstorm has tested IPoIB, SDP and other basic tests on RHEL4 up3 (x86 and x86_64) and SLES10 (x86) servers.
 
Highlights/Issues:
 
 
1. Ping fails for ib1 interface on 64 and 32  bit RHEL4 up3 machine ( known issue)
 
2. Overall performance on 32-bit systems is very less as compared to what we got on 64-bit machines,even with SDP
 
3. As per the suggestion from Mr.Aviram Gutman, the most updated performance tests: ib_write_lat    
   ib_read_lat, ib_send_lat, ib_write_bw ib_read_bw, ib_send_bw. are tested using  '-a' option for all messages 
   sizes and all are working fine
