EWG/OFED the meeting minutes for Dec 23, 2009

Meeting summary:

* 1.5 RC4 will be released by end of this week (18-Dec)
* GA date Dec 22
* No more features patches will be accepted to OFED - only critical bug
fixes.


Meeting details:
----------------

1. Inclusion of new rdma/cm patches: fix loopback address support. 
   There was an agreement it should wait for 1.5.1, and David who sent
the patches agreed to it.

2. OFED 1.5 bugs status:

3. Decide on RC5 and the GA dates
- RC5 - end of this week
- GA Dec 22

4. Open discussion
OFED 1.5.1:
- Woody suggested that we may wish to call ofed 1.5.1 1.6 due to the new
RDMAoE feature. 
- Tziporet said that usually we raise number only when we change kernel
base, and this is not the case here.
- Betsy suggested to wait with 1.5.1 to RHEL 5.5.

Sonoma workshop:
- We wish to have scalability discussion in Sonoma - who from each
company will participate in such a session?
- Bill suggested a new licensing model for the SW. He will send a
proposal for the group to review.
