There is no HCA emulation for VMware.
The current solution provides vHBA/vNIC connectivity within the Virtual
Machine running over SRP/IPoIB.
IB ULPs run in the hypervisor kernel, the VM doesn't have access to the
IB HW.

   I had a question about virtualization and OFED. Is it possible to  
fully virtualize IB hardware with something like Xen and use the OFED  
stack?

   I saw something that indicated VMware supports the VNIC interface.  
That only allows teh guests to use IP based interfaces like sockets  
correct? One can not use IB ULP and such?

   just looking for some brief info and such.
