This is the OFED 1.2 Feb-12 meeting summary on alpha status:<br>
<br>
<b> Abbreviated minutes / summary:</b><br>
<ul>
<li>The alpha release should be done on Wed Feb-14. (A package for
testing was already published today)</li>
<li>Not all components must support all OSes for the alpha.<br>
</li>
<li>There going to be 3 weeks for testing the alpha release.<br>
</li>
<li>Next milestone is the Beta release - on March-7</li>
</ul>
<b>Note:</b> please post all OFED related mails to EWG mailing list too
and not just the general list.<br>

We reviewed all OFED components and this is the status toward the alpha
release:<br>

Kernel</b><br>
ib_verbs (core) - ready - need to add CMA patch for iWRAP to support
uDAPL - was done today<br>
ib_mthca - ready<br>
ib_ipoib - ready<br>
ib_ipath - currently works on 2.6.20 only. Backport patches will be
available for the beta<br>
ib_iser - ready<br>
ib_sdp - ready<br>
ib_srp - ready<br>
ib_ehca - PPC only - ready<br>
cxgb3 - ready - backport patch for SLES9 was applied today<br>
vnic - ready<br>
rds - currently works on kernel 2.6.20 and 2.6.19. RHEL and SLES
support will be added for the beta.<br>
ib-bonding - - ready (will work only on RHEL4UP3 & SLES10 )<br>
madeye - we forgot to take this module from OFED 1.1. Will be done for
the beta.<br>

libibverbs - ready; man pages should be check-in by Roland for the beta.<br>

libipathverbs - missing the new mode of libibverbs. Will be done for
