<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">1. Decided to delay the feature freeze to Sep 10.</FONT>

<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">MPI update:</FONT></LI>
<UL>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Open MPI: will have some intermediate package for OFED</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Mvapich: first OFED package will start with version 0.99 (that was part of 1.2.5). The package of the new release will be ready by end of Sep.</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Mvapich2: new release 1.2 will be ready on time for the feature freeze.</FONT></LI>

<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">QoS in the kernel - need update from Sean </FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Neteffect new RNIC driver - will be ready in 2 weeks</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">bonding - will be ready in 2 weeks</FONT></LI>

<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Asked all to test and review the new install since Vlad is going for 3 weeks vacation on Sep 10</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Explained the feature to build without installation is not available any more.<BR>
Reasons for change were that working in the previous mode was against rpm native usage and caused many issues to other packages (like MPI).<BR>
In addition it caused OFED spec files and package to be not useful for the distros.</FONT></LI>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">3. bugzilla cleanup toward 1.3:</FONT>

<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">We wish to clean the bugzilla database before we start the 1.3 release phase.</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Tziporet will move all open bugs that were opened for OFED 1.2 to OFED 1.3</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Older bugs will be moved to WONTFIX status</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Any one that opened a bug is invited to review the bugs and update their status (most important - close fixed bugs)</FONT></LI>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">4. Patches submitted to OFED :</FONT>

<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Decided that all kernel patches must submitted for the list for review before merging them to the kernel</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Regarding user space: sending patches to the list is recommended but not a must</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">For critical components (like libibverbs, ucma, osm) sending patches to review is required too</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Reminder: Each patch must include short explanation + sign-off</FONT></LI>
