These look like messages from the Mellanox VAPI driver,
not the MTHCA driver from openib.org. Sorry for the confusion.
I think that Mellanox is telling people that IBGD Gold "is" the
openib code, when in fact it is not and I wish they would stop
doing that as it simply adds to the confustion.
I believe IBGD Gold is based on some early code
donated to openib.org by Topspin. However, most, if not all of
that code was not used in the official openib.org trunk or
submitted to kernel.org.  VAPI was not used at all. 

I suggest you contact Mellanox directly for questions about these
errors.
