iSER is a new IETF extension to iSCSI allowing it to run over native

RDMA transport replacing the slow TCP transport. The session will

describe the new iSCSI Datamover layer, the iSER transport module and

its relations with iSCSI and InfiniBand, the standard mapping from

iSCSI/iSER to FC and to iSCSI/TCP. The session will also review plans

for upcoming releases of iSER, and discussions on progresses made in

the areas of incorporating iSER into the iSCSI-Linux project, the

latest iSER RFC work in the IETF and iSER integration with upcoming kernels
and OS distributions.
