OK, I think this should be fixed in the latest svn. The crash was 100% reproducible (happened every time) with CONFIG_DEBUG_SLAB turned on, and it's now fixed on my setup. It might be interesting to run your MPI tests with CONFIG_DEBUG_SLAB=y to see if it shakes out any other problems. - R.
