Hi,

The following forward patch was accepted into 2.6.14 and affects OpenIB.
I placed this in gen2/trunk/src/linux-kernel/patches/linux-2.6.13-af-packet.diff

af_packet: Allow for > 8 byte hardware addresses

The convention is that longer addresses will simply extend
the hardware address byte arrays at the end of sockaddr_ll and
packet_mreq.
