[openib-general] SDP over local communication

hi, 

I am wondering if SDP has support for local communication, i.e, when both the data source and the sink run on the same physical hardware and uses SOCK_STREAM. 

I have another application that chooses between AF_UNIX and AF_INET, depending on whether the peer is on the same host or remote host. Will SDP work in this case? 

any opinion is appreciated.
