OK, i will be able to do it later today, anyway, something bothers me 
here: the script is based on parsing the output of

$ /sbin/ip monitor link

and this output should be the same for both the cases (ie unplug the ib 
cable or make the port state down) since it is in the **ip** and not 
**ib** level.
