[openib-general] problems using the ipoib ha package of RH4 U3

On a related issue, i think it was mentioned at some point that the 
ipoib ha package does not support devices which use the non standard 
pkey, is it correct? why?

My thinking was that if the pkey 8001 is configured for both port 1 and 
port2 of the hca, the user hacks /etc/init.d/openibd to create ib0:8001 
and ib1:8001 child devices **before** the ha service is started and then 
tells the ha service to use ib0:8001 as primary and ib1:8001 as 
secondary, it should work, what do you think?
