[ofa-general] Direct connect and SM

Hello,

I have a small confusion on the below scenario:

1.	I have two hosts and each is having single port HCA
2.	Port from each HCA is directly connected (No switch) with two
ports on the same target
3.	SM is running on each host.
4.	I see that both the ports on target gets assigned the same LID
from different SMs running on different hosts.

 

Is it a valid configuration? Should target handle this case having two
ports with same LID?
