The patch itself looks fine.  But my question on urgency is whether this
fixes a big problem and needs to go into 2.6.26, or whether we can wait
for 2.6.27.  Based on the fact that it's been around for a few months
and no one seems to have noticed it's missing upstream, I'm guessing
2.6.27 is fine.

I probably lost it the first time around because I didn't understand why
the change mattered -- so yes, with a changelog that explains the
problem with the current code and why this patch fixes it, I would merge
it right away.
