[ofa-general] ***SPAM*** libibverbs configuration directory and userspace device-specific driver

I am attempting to use libibverbs with a build from src (./configure && make
install).  However "ibv_devices" complains:

         libibverbs: Warning: no userspace device-specific driver found for
/sys/class/infiniband_verbs/uverbs0


I manually created the /usr/local/etc/libibverbs.d directory, but nothing
exists in it, and I can't seem to find any documentation on creating files
manually.

My /sys/class/infiniband_verbs/uverbs0/ directory does indeed exist:
