Shouldn't the IP to IB gateway be a full member of any multicast groups
it wants to forward?  And figure out which groups to forward by snooping
IGMP?

Sorry I let that drop, but I don't see what that issue has to do with
the question of whether IPoIB should finally use send-only membership?
