We see good performance with Centos/RedHat and Ubuntu.  We build our own 
kernel (due to performance/stability issues we see under load with 
distro kernels).  Ours is a 2.6.28.7.  We are testing some 2.6.30.x 
kernels now as well.

OFED 1.4 now, we used 1.3.x last year.
