Hi, > phys state: 2: Polling On both machines physical state is 'Polling' i.e. the physical connectivity of the two is not proper. Check the connectivity first. Only after it becomes phys state: 5: LinkUp you will be able to enable any IB communication on this interface. -Mahesh
