[ofa-general] after "SUBNET UP" opensm hangs

its getting an exiting because i do a ctl-c because it just hangs

Subject: [ofa-general] after "SUBNET UP" opensm hangs








after i start opensm, i get "SUBNET UP" and then it hangs. im using 
centos 5 and even when i do a /etc/init.d/opensmd start it acts like its 
starting but never says started just hangs. but it seems to work if i 
want to ping to other machines.. why would this be? is there a fix?
