<P><FONT SIZE=2>2005 OpenIB Developers Workshop - The Lodge at Sonoma, February 6-9</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2>The OpenIB Alliance is holding its first Development Workshop at The Lodge </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>at Sonoma from February 6-9, 2005. The workshop is open to everyone </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>interested in the work of the OpenIB Alliance - see </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2><<A HREF="http://www.openib.org/" TARGET="_blank">http://www.openib.org/</A>>www.openib.<<A HREF="http://www.openib.org/" TARGET="_blank">http://www.openib.org/</A>>org to register </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>for the Workshop and make hotel reservations at the Lodge at the workshop </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>rates.</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2>If you wish to spend the weekend of Feb 5/6 at the hotel, or stay a day or </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>two beyond the 9th some rooms are available at the same rates. However you </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>must reserve rooms with the codes assigned by the hotel, available through </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>links to the hotel from www.openib.org, to qualify for those rates.</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2>The cost to register for the workshop is $395. The program will have these </FONT>

<BR><FONT SIZE=2> * developers discussing the OpenIB kernel-level software submitted to </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>kernel.org, its current status and proposed evolution;</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2> * developers discussing the proposed OpenIB software architecture and </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>plans for additional modules to complete a full Linux open software stack </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>for enterprise and high performance computing deployments including </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>underlying capabilities for Infiniband and other RDMA protocols such as </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>IT-API and DAPL;</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2> * customers, vendors and developers discussing their requirements and </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>road map for the OpenIB software development,</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2> * compliance, integration, hardening, scaling and resilience of the </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>stack for inclusion in Linux distributions;</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2> * integration of the OpenIB stack in software and applications for </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>Enterprise and HPC server, blade, cluster, storage and embedded systems;</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2> * the DOE Labs and their partners describing the OpenIB PathForward </FONT>
