Yes the SM is running. I guess I am running ibsrpdm even before the port<BR>

is active and thats why it is getting an invalid SM LID value. If I run<BR>

it a little later, ibsrpdm works fine.<BR>

So I guess there should be a check to see that the port state is active before<BR>

reading the SM LID value.<BR>
