I think there are multiple algorithms that work:<BR>
1. If port state > armed (e.g. armed or active), SMLID is required to be<BR>
valid<BR>
2. If (SMLID != 0xffff) && (SMLID != 0x0), SMLID is valid<BR>
<BR>
Maybe other algorithms too.<BR>

(Same for LID too)<BR>
