I am creating an application that is run with MPICH, which deactivates the name server, so the clients cannot find the server. The man page for fi_psm2 does not list a possible solution in the master branch, but for the tag v1.2.0, it says that out-of-band

 mechanism could work, or even fi_getname. Is there another solution? </div>
