Yes, we do have to provide support for Intel MPI and Xeon Phi<br class="">

for a couple more years. IBM DB2 PureScale is also a consumer of<br class="">

mainly because of the OS agnostic RDMA interfaces.<br class="">

on DAPL, but it is still used by the shipping version of Intel MPI,<br class="">

we still need the repo for now.<br class="">
Longer term, the next version of Intel MPI for 2019 is based on OFI<br class="">
and I am not sure if anything else is actually using DAPL, so longer<br class="">
term, Jason is right that it will stop being relevant in a couple of<br class="">

libvmw_pvrdma is already part of rdma-core these days<br class="">
libscif is a 'verbs provider' and is incompatible with rdma-core, so<br class="">
it is basically useless for OFA. Recommend to remove it too.<br class="">
That leaves only two things.. DAPL is basically a dead project<br class="">
superceeded by libfabric. It will stop being relavent in two years I<br class="">
suspect.<br class="">
The same excercies should be done on the windows side. AFAIK 'OFED<br class="">
for<br class="">
Windows' and related is completely dead and should be removed too.<br class="">
