- libfabric NEWS.md needs the following sections filled in:
## General notes
## GNI provider notes
## MXM provider notes
## PSM provider notes
## UDP provider notes

- Providers need to update their fi_<provider>.7.md pages.

- AUTHORS needs to be updated for any new authors (in both libfabric and fabtests)

- The libfabric.so number needs to be sanity checked (I updated it to 3:0:2 in https://github.com/ofiwg/libfabric/commit/c61a241261f0f103b17dba71fbc063cd250efeca)

- The provider matrix needs to be updated: https://github.com/ofiwg/libfabric/wiki/Provider-Feature-Matrix
