[openfabrics-ewg] Making noise about your hardware/systems interoperability with OFED rev 1.0

Hi EWG Team - specially the marketing oriented folks,

 

OFA is planning a press release on Wednesday, announcing the release of
OFED rev 1.0, among other things.

 

We at Mellanox were wondering if it will be good if each of the EWG
members (as well as other participants, if desired) did their individual
press releases following the OFA release on Wed, announcing support for
OFED 1.0 and how their hardware and software solutions are compliant,
compatible, interoperable etc. with the OFED 1.0 release.

 

The OFA release talks about OFED being a collaborative effort, enhancing
interoperability etc, but individual complementary PRs from all IB
vendors will make the message much stronger.

 

Any comments?  Mellanox would like to issue such a PR and would like to
hear if there are any objections.
