[openfabrics-ewg] RE: Place for the IBED releases

I don't want to place MPI in svn repository.
What I need is a place to put the sources tarball and the full IBED
package + some RPMs.

So it what I need is some place on the OpenFabrics.

Is this possible?

Tziporet,

  I think we first need to decide whether we really need to have MPI's
in the svn repository. Maybe we can just pull from the Open MPI and
MVAPICH code repositories during the install process. Or maybe it makes
sense to have both MPI's in the release branch section of the
OpenFabrics svn repository. It's worth discussing our options.

  FWIW, I don't think we need to have MVAPICH in the development branch
of the OpenFabrics code repository. It looks like you can skip the
MVAPICH registration process now. That should make it easier for folks
to get it direct from OSU.
