Betsy,
We got backport.patch (one file) from Bryan on Friday and there was 
ipath_backport.h file missing which was sent today.
So, it will be integrated in the OFED-1.0-rc4.

Note: loading ib_ipath module fails on 2.6.9-22.ELsmp:
# modprobe ipath_core
FATAL: Error inserting ipath_core 
(/lib/modules/2.6.9-22.ELsmp/kernel/drivers/infiniband/ipath_core.ko):
