Sujal, I sent Cisco SQA rc4 test results to the EWG list a few weeks
ago, we only tested RHEL4 U3, thus could not test SRP.
We will send out rc5 test results as we have them, we will be testing
IPoIB/SDP/SRP/MPI/uDAPL/RDS on RHEL4 U3 i686/x86_64/ia64/ppc64.

Components status:
1. mthca
o Source frozen.
o No open issues.
o Ready for GA
2. ipath
o Two more patches for RC6.
o On target to source freeze with RC6.
3. IPoIB
o Source frozen.
o No open issues.
o Ready for GA
4. OpenSM
a. Source frozen.
b. No open issues.
c. Ready for GA
5. OSU MPI
o Need to run on large clusters
o QLogic, Mellanox and Cisco are testing.
o [AI] Need to know Cisco testing status
o On target to source freeze with RC6 once large scale
cluster testing is completed.
6. Open MPI
o Technology preview in 1.0 release.
o [AI] Jeff to comment on open issues.
7. SRP
o Open back-port issues with IA 64. Being worked on.
o Roland has committed FMR patch.
o Do not know status of PPC support. [AI] Cisco to update.
o [AI] Cisco's SRP testing status. Gateways, DDN target,
LSI Target?
o Who is testing DDN Target? [AI] Cisco please confirm if
you are.
o SilverStorm SRP Gateway, LSI SRP target being tested.
o Feature currently not included - dynamically
adding/removal of target, failover (what failover driver to test with,
XVM from SGI, MPP from LSI?). These features not needed in initial HPC
release.
8. iSER
o Tested. Stable.
o SST reported an issue that need addressing
o Support for SLES 10 in RC6. SLES 10 RC2 not committed.
o Tested on Voltaire gateway and native IB attached
target.
o On target to source freeze with RC 6 and GA
9. UDAPL
* [AI] Cisco and Intel to report status of
testing with Intel MPI
* There may be UDAPL fixes required by Intel MPI,
are they in RC5? [AI] Intel needs to confirm.
* [AI] Intel, please test RC5
* Need to freeze source with RC6 and get to GA
quality: [AI]: Cisco or Intel needs to make the call.
* HP MPI uses UDAPL as well - [AI]:Gali will
follow up to verify if HP will test and bless the RC5 UDAPL
10. SDP
o Will be technology preview in 1.0 release.
o All details of SDP features and limitations are in RC5
release notes.
o Cannot be in frozen in RC6. GA planned with v1.1 (see
Release Plan below)
o Who will test RC5: SST, QLogic, Voltaire. [AI] Cisco,
please confirm you will test.
11. RDS
o Will be technology preview in 1.0 release
o Intel, SilverStorm, QLogic testing the RDS is OFED .
o Oracle setting up demo with Cisco with OFED RDS - iWARP
and IB using OFED
o Oracle Linux group started RDS effort - Oracle will
certify this RDS and not the current RDS.
o Oracle would like the Oracle RDS to be brought into OFED
in the long run. Oracle RDS not ready for another 6 months.
o Leave current SilverStorm contributed RDS in OFED as
technology preview for now. Decide future course later.
12. Tools
* Source frozen.
* No open issues.
* Ready for GA
Release plan:
RC6 - 6-Jun
Official 1.0 release - 13-Jun
Copyright and licensing policy discussion:
o [AI]: Johann will talk to board, resolve open issues
before June 6th.
o [AI]: Betsy to send clear instructions to developers
about what to include in source - before June 6th.
Release with SDP and SRP as version 1.1 upgrade. Need to decide
on date. Source freeze RC targeted end of June.
o [AI]: Need intensive and wide-scale testing of SDP by
the community, starting with RC5
Testing status:
[AI]: Need update from all companies on testing status + cluster
size used.
o Bob from SilverStorm

Content important. Not format. Focus on RC5
Release documents:
