What bothers me most is the pread/pwrite config space access.
Unfortunately, the way it is implemented currently, using this interface,
it is too easy to hang the system, or worse, just by running
several mstflint instances.

So, it was intended just as a work around for cases
where firmware is in a bad way, and I am reluctant to enable that
transparently for all users (even on some architectures),
until I am sure I understand the whole problem and there's no better
work-around, or until I figure out a good fix for this issue.
