[openfabrics-ewg] Test Results so far from Silverstorm for OFED1.1 rc7

Hi:
 
Silverstorm has tested IPoIB, SDP and other basic tests on RHEL4 up3 (x86 and x86_64) and SLES10 (x86) servers.
 
Highlights/Issues:
 
1. Overall performance on 32-bit systems is very less as compared to what we got on 64-bit machines.
 
2.There is a great improvement in SDP performance for 64 bit machine, but no improvement is seen on 32 bit machines. 
 
3. As per the suggestion from Mr.Aviram Gutman, the most updated performance tests: ib_write_lat    
   ib_read_lat, ib_send_lat, ib_write_bw ib_read_bw, ib_send_bw. are tested using  '-a' option for all messages 
   sizes and all are working fine
