VNIC does support the base 2.6.19 kernel. OFED-1.2-rc1 installs successfully with VNIC on 2.6.19
(and also on 2.6.19.7).

We haven't tried the installation with the Real Time Preempt patch though.

Going ahead we will clean up the SPIN_LOCK_UNLOCKED code. Thanks for pointing that out, Roland.
