Vlad,
I am in the process of setting up a GIT tree for the VNIC driver on
the OFA server.
Here is how I think I should be doing this. Please correct me if I am
wrong.
1. Clone git://git.openfabrics.org/~vlad/ofed_kernel
2. Create a branch that tracks ofed_kernel
3. Get the VNIC changes into that branch
4. Do a "git rebase ofed_kernel" to merge this branch with the latest ofed_kernel code
5. Create an empty qlvnic.git tree on the OFA server
6. git push the branch that I created to qlvnic.git
Can I do all this directly on the OFA server without pushing this from my local machine
or is that not recommended ?
Also please let me know if you have any specific requirements related to naming of the branches etc.
Regards,
Ram

Hi Ram,
Can you arrange a git tree on the OFA server that I can pull from?
Regards,
Vladimir
