[ewg] OFED October 6 2008 meeting summary on OFED 1.4 status

There was a question in the meeting about RedHat EL 4.7 and
OFED 1.4 on Itanium.

I tested this today (using yesterday's daily build)
with Intel MPI and it seems to be working
fine on a small 2 node cluster.

1. RC3 is delayed for next week
2. There is a critical bug in NFS-RDMA - Jeff need to resolve it
3. Warning cleanup - bugs were opened and cleanup has started
4. Testing - on progress

Details:

1. RC3 features:
	1. NFS-RDMA to work on RHEL 5.1 - done; However there is a
critical bug with NFS_RDMA on SLES 10 SP2.
	2. OSM: Cashed routing - patches sent - we wait for Sasha here
	3. Cleanup compilation warning - many warnings are cleaned now.
More work to be done.

2. OFED testing status:
Progress well at all companies. NFS-RDMA causing issues and must be
resolved for RC3, or being removed form OFED 1.4

3. OFED GA date:
There was a discussion on the question if we can make it for the GA date
at end of October.
Decision was not to change the plan now and see about critical bugs
status in 2 weeks and then decide.

4. Critical bugs review:
