EWG/OFED the meeting minutes for Aug 10, 2009

Meeting summary:

1. Ofed 1.4.2 was released
2. OFED 1.5 alpha started QA/verification at all companies
3. Beta is planned for Sep 3 with new libraries package

Details:

1. OFED 1.5 status: 
- Most Backports completed; Still have compilation problems on SLES 10
SP2
- Need to add SLES 10SP3 and RHEL 5.4 backports
- Mellanox: regression is running
- Qlogic: No report since Betsy did not participate
- Intel nes driver: preliminary tests; RHEL 5.4 - need Backports
- Intel MPI - first tests running OK
- IBM: No report
- Chelsio - initial testing
- Voltaire: Started verification; Bonding - some bugs are still open,
under work of Moni

Beta schedule: 
Since we wish to move to the new libraries in tarball format (and not
from git) beta will be only on Sep 3

2. Open discussion
SC09 - Bill Boas submitted a request for BOF
Request people support in driving this BOF

Note: Yevgeny Petrilin from Mellanox will replace Vlad while he is on
vacation
