EWG meeting minutes for Feb 22, 2010:

Meeting Summary:

1. OFED 1.5.1 stability is good
2. RC2 will be done on Feb 24
3. Sonoma agenda - There are still some free slots - please approach Bill Boas for suggested sessions.

Details:

1. OFED 1.5.1 testing status
MLNX: Testing covering all OSes, and CPU arch x86, x86_64 and PPC64
Intel - rc1 looking good
Voltaire - solved few bugs in bonding and fixed iSER backports issues
IBM - rc1 - looking good, SDP working
Qlogic - need the mgt compat libs - on work
UNH - working on logo validation, requested if they can run some tests on RC3
Chelsio - running 64 bits testing, beside the two bugs everything is good
Nes - Sent last paches; All working well for now
OpenMPI - no plan for another release, but may need a small change
NFS/RDMA - most bugs are fixed
RoCEE - All patches are submitted including vLANS

3. RC & GA plan

- RC3 - Mar  4, 2010
- GA  - Mar 11, 2010

All patches should be sent to Vlad by Tuesday Feb 23.


4. Soft-RoCEE to OFED:
It cannot be added to OFED 1.5.1. 
First patches should be submitted to the kernel and later on it can be added to OFED.
Need to decide later if we wish to have 1.5.2 for this, or add it to 1.6

5. We reviewed the Sonoma agenda 
   There are still some free slots - please approach Bill Boas for suggested sessions
   Bill will send the updated agenda to the ewg list
