[ewg] Is this the right place for questions on OFED?

I'm trying to install OFED on Ubuntu 9.10 without much success.  OFED
1.5 is failing with an error:

"rpm: please use alien to install rpm packages on Debian, if you are
really sure use --force-debian switch. See README.Debian for more
details."

Is there any way to get this to install on Ubuntu?
