Hi Tziporet,

Thank you for discussing Scientific Linux at today's OFA EWG call - I have
included the link to the Scientific Linux website below. The proposal for
OFA-IWG Interop event on November 7th 2011 is to use SL 6.1 64 bit on the
OFA cluster because this version provides better support for the most recent
kernel than CentOS currently has available. UNH-IOL lab has already
installed this and has had good success. They will certainly run some of the
OFED 1.5.4 RC before the event to be sure there are no issues.

1. OFED 1.5.4 releases:
     - Features:
		- FDR support - should be submitted this week
		- New OpenSM with 3D torus - done
		- New Chelsio driver - breaking compilation
		- Updated SDP - on work
		- New uDAPL package - should be ready in few weeks
		- mlx4_en driver update (to latest driver in kernel 3.0) 
		- qib driver update
		- New PSM library
		- iWARP protocol interop - on work
       - Schedule: 
	Daily build will started
	GA: Oct 11
	First RC: Aug 15.
       - Status:
	Due to Chelsio driver compilation of many OSes is failing - need to
fix 

       - Agree on Kernel & distros support:
	a. Distorts OSes:
	- Redhat:
		RHEL 5.6 & 5.7
		RHEL 6.0 & 6.1
	- SLES:
		SLES10 SP4
		SLES11 SP1
	- Oracle:
		OEL 5.6

	b. Kernel.org:
		Suggestion: Support only kernels from 2.6.30 to 3.0
