EWG/OFED meeting minutes for - Aug 8, 2011:

OFED 1.5.4 releases:
     - Features:
		- FDR support - should be submitted this week
		- New OpenSM with 3D torus - done
		- New Chelsio driver - breaking compilation - fixed
		- Updated SDP - on work
		- New uDAPL package - should be ready in few weeks
		- mlx4_en driver update (to latest driver in kernel 3.0) 
		- qib driver update - on work
		- New PSM library
		- iWARP protocol interop - on work
       - Schedule: 
	Chelsio and Intel request to push RC1 to 1st of Sep and GA by Nov 1
	We have not closed this since we wish all companies to check it internally.
	I will start a specific email on this on the EWG list
	UNH-IOL testing event is on 11/7 and they can start on testing the RCs


       - Kernel & distros support:

	Discussion:
	- UNH-IOL requested to add Scientific Linux 6.1:
	  Decided to add since they will be responsible for the testing .

	- Oracle requested to add OEL 5.6:
	 - We can add this assuming Oracle will take the testing - need a commitment from Oracle
	    Also members of the group wish to take this to review internally - decision will be in next EWG meeting

        a. Distorts OSes:
	- Redhat:
		RHEL 5.6 & 5.7
		RHEL 6.0 & 6.1
	- SLES:
		SLES10 SP4
		SLES11 SP1
	- Scientific Linux:
		SL 6.1 64 bit

        b. Kernel.org:
	Decision: Support only kernels from 2.6.30 to 3.0
