There's been a vigorous discussion of the IB verbs API in the Linux kernel
recently on linux-rdma at vger.kernel.org.

One item that has come up is that folks would like to remove
ib_reg_phys_mr() for kernel consumers because it is obsolete.

Are you aware of any out-of-tree kernel consumers who might still use this
API?
