Status:

*        Opens - none

*        OFED 3.18-2 released July 3rd: (thanks everyone!)

*        OFED 4.x discussion:

o   4.7 is released this week but missing some key bug fixes for some and NVMe-F support.

o   4.8 RCs starting middle August.

?  Discussion on con-call leaning towards waiting for 4.8,

?  If we target RC2 for first OFED build we have time to validate and get critical fixes upstream

o   What distros do we drop moving forward? Very difficult and time consuming to backport too far back.

o   Everyone: Please talk with development/validation teams and come back with distro and kernel recommendation by August 1st meeting.

*        Timelines for 4.x release:

o   OFED targets release for Oct-Nov so if we move to 4.8 it will be tight.
