Please report in your RC3 validation results by Friday and forward any release note updates to Rupert. The Intel Fabrics Software Team completed validation on RC3. Xeon and Xeon Phi.  No new issues.

Rupert or Vlad,

Can you please verify the following bugs are included in OFED 3.18-2 “Known Issues” section?


*        2561 - normal: IPoIB failure after arp cache flush

*        2580 - major:  NFSoRDMA client on PPC64LE crash, mount to a NFSoRDMA server running on x86 box

*        2583 -  major: wpm_mapping_error_cb: Received msg seq = 381240 err code = 12

*        2587 -  enh:   autoconf is needed by ibacm‐1.1.0‐1.x86_64  -

*        2596 - critical:  Host crash related to mlx5 driver, ConnectIB HCAs, ib_srp, and performing IO

*        2598 - normal: Failed to build libibverbs RPM with OFED-3.18-2-20160515-0319 daily build on RHEL6.6

*        2600 - blocking: 3.18-1 + 3.18-2-rc2 fail compat-rdma build due to bad structs - srpt

Update Issue #12.  Bug 2574:  remove note about “This will be resolved in OFED 3.18-2”

§  Consensus to complete RC3 validation by End of Week

*        Release GA package next week if successful

§  All - Review release notes and send any update to Vlad and Rupert.

§  Report any regression to list ASAP.
