Agenda:

*        Opens:

o   Feedback regarding consolidation of user space RDMA libraries. (linux-rdma list)

?  General consensus is that it is good idea but there are update/maintenance questions.

*    Please attend OFVWG (Sept 13th, 11am PDT) and voice any concerns.

?  Confirm with Vlad that it will not be an issue with future OFED distributions

*        OFED 4.8:

o   kernel 4.8 RC5 status

?  Vlad working RH 7.2 backports, will send out email when ready.

?  Vendors need more time, some prefer to wait for first backport.

?  Intel working on Xeon Phi patches, i40iw components verified.

*        User Packages:

*        All maintainers:  please make sure latest.txt is current for distributions

*        libocrdma

o   The latest.txt file for libocrdma package still indicates version 1.0.7 (3.18-2, 4.8 OFED contain old versions)

o   Broadcom/Emulex, please update: http://www.openfabrics.org/downloads/libocrdma/latest.txt

*        librdmacm

o   Which git tree is the correct location of the package?

*        gen2

o   Is this a legitimate OFED version or should we delete it. See Bug 2607<http://bugs.openfabrics.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2607>

*        Recommendation to delete gen2 option, change 2607.

o   Bug submitters are sloppy about specifying platform, OS, and OFED versions

*        Who owns OFED Bugzilla cleanup? How do we get usage message to submitters?

o   Looking to Woody for recommendations
