Minutes:

*   Opens

?  NFS-rdma dropped as feature in OFED 4.8.

?  Rupert: OFA Interop/debug events can work around this dropped feature.

?  Broadcom drivers needed soon, targeting OFED 4.8-1

?  Question about the use of Mellanox OFED

?  Used for IBTA compliance testing, need latest vendor packages

?  OFA OFED is used for the OFA interop testing (4.8 RC1 at this point in time)



*   OFA Board Decision regarding OFED 4.8 release and license language - Approved text:

?  rdma-core v13, removed pvrdma package, add xeon-phi patches

?  VMware to verify pvrdma build/install with latest daily build.

?  User Packages updated: libfabric-1.4.1, fabtest-1.4.1, libibscif-1.1.3

?  Still pending for RC2:

?  Chelsio has a bug fix patch coming today, April 24th.

*        Bug Report

?  2169 - IPoIB ib0 interface fails (FW issue, 12.18.2000)

?  Add to release notes for GA

?  2621 - Unable to compile Lustre on daily builds (RC1 still fails)

?  Add to release notes for GA

?  2622 - Can't modprobe ib_qib after OS reboot/openibd reboot RH 7.3

?  Add to release notes for GA

*        RC2 plan of record: new daily build after Chelsio patch goes upstream.

?  Rupert to replace text in LICENSE file with new approved text from OFA board.

?  Chelsio to do a quick test of new daily build and send out status to EWG mailing list.

?  If testing ok, move this build to RC2.  If done in time, we build RC2 on Wednesday April 26th.

?  If we need more time to test final build, we build RC2 on Monday May 1st.
