What is new in 3.18-3?  I guess I missed that this was being released.
   <arlin>  Add support/backports for RH 6.8

Chelsio is working on cxgb backports now for OFED-4.8.  Hopefully within the next 2 weeks.
    <arlin>  Great!  If possible, I would like to move OFED 4.8 to RC1 in 2-3 weeks.

What is the status of GPL-only code that is in OFED-4.8?  Are we able to release?
    <arlin>  OFA board is still discussing, we expect approval/recommendations soon. Susan? Jim?

Time for some status and updates.....

o   Intel validated early drops, pushed Xeon Phi bug fixes, validating this new drop this week.

o   Testing and validation status from others?

o   Would like to make RC1 decision during Monday's EWG call.

o   New crash reported on RH 7.3, Mellanox can reproduce and is working on fix.

o   libfabric 1.4.1-rc1 pushed up, Xeon Phi Patches pushed up, waiting for new daily build

o   i40e code pulled in, waiting for Intel to update compat-rdma configuration/install

o   cxgb3, cxgb4, nes still fail on RHEL 7.0, 7.1, SLES 12 SP0, SP1

*  The latest status from Chelsio (Steve) and Intel (Tatyana)?

*         OFED 3.18-3 daily build with RH 6.8 backport (Jan 26)

*  Can we target RC1 in 2 weeks, get to GA in 4 weeks?

*  Intel start validation: all components build, Xeon Phi Patch in new 1-26 build

* Adding to automated test system (all previous OSes plus RH6.8) this week.

*  Any other company building and validating yet?



*         OFED 4.8 status (Jan 19th):

*  Can we target RC1 in early February and GA for late-March before OFA conference?

*  Supported OSes: RHEL 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, SLES 12 SP0, SP1, SP2

*  cxgb3, cxgb4, nes fail on RHEL 7.0, 7.1, SLES 12 SP0, SP1

*         Please work on these cxgb3, cxgb4, nes backport issues. 2-3 weeks until RC1.

*  SRP and iSER backports are included for all of the supported OSes.

*  The new rdma_core libraries included, pre-requisites documented in release notes.
