o   OFA Board approved, ship it!

o   Vlad will release package tomorrow - March 14, 2017



*         OFED 4.8:   http://downloads.openfabrics.org/OFED/ofed-4.8-daily/OFED-4.8-20170309-0811.tgz

o   rdma-core: switched to rdma-core-12 tag.

?  pvrdma will move to an "out of tree" library package to support rdma-core-12

?  We still need a way to apply patches for bug fixes. Need recommendation from Vlad.

o   compat-rdma: added nvme support (kernel 4.8), completed all existing component backports

o   new libraries:  fabtests-1.4.1rc1, libfabric-1.4.1rc1, dapl-2.1.10, libibmad-1.3.13



o   Agreement to release OFED 4.8 RC1 on 3/15, with following updates (need patches today):

?  i40iw changes in compat-rdma configure/[Mm]akefile and install.pl script

?  Xeon Phi patches for rdma-core v12 support, libibscif 1.1.2

?  nvme changes in install.pl script to restrict builds to kernel 4.8 (Bug 2620)

o   Items that can wait for RC2:

?  NFSRDMA backports are in progress by Jeff Becker

?  pvrdma "out of tree" library tarball, with intstall.pl changes for new library.

*         if done in time, pick up for RC1
